Josh Weller
Josh Weller's musical career started with Your Loss, an Indie band he performed with while still at school. From 2004, his style, both solo and with his band Josh Weller And The Availables changed, becoming acoustic showtunes music inspired by Mel Tormé, Tom Waits and Irving Berlin. His album, 'The Tradition Of Unbecoming' reflects this style.
From there, Josh performed as singer and guitarist with Punk band The Kenneths until they disbanded in 2018. He has also collaborated with a variety of artists including Paloma Faith and Cibelle. He has toured and played with Mumford and Sons, The Offspring, Jack Garratt, Stereophonics, Descendents, The Noisettes, The Maccabees (Orlando Weeks, their lead vocalist, created Josh's logo), Florence and The Machine, Born Ruffians, The XX, Johnny Flynn and Paloma Faith.
In April 2014, Josh started the 'Excitable Boy' podcast, a weekly comedy and music podcast. Guests have included Gemma Arterton, Lianne La Havas, Juliet Simms, Neck Deep, Kevin Lyman, Bebe Rexha, Geoff Lloyd, Steve Furst and comedian Alex Edelman.
In 2018 Josh released 'Die Already', a ten-part comic book series.
Josh featured in seasons three and five of ITV 2's 'The Stand Up Sketch Show' (2021 and 2023), and in 2023 played the character Boris in season 3, episodes 4 and 5 of the Netflix series 'The Witcher'.
